The Cross Keys
Kensington & Chelsea | Pub
The Cross Keys is what our humans call a 'Posh Pub' because it has a separate dining are to the bar and it serves fabulous, top quality food. These dining areas are often off limits to Four Legged Foodies but not so at The Cross Keys, in fact we only spotted 1 table that didn't have a dog with them.
The first thing we noticed was a huge jar of treats waiting for us by the door, and although we had to be reminded that we had to share them with other dogs, it made us feel very welcome. The staff also made us very welcome and didn't even mind Nacho jumping up at them every time they came to the table.
The pub is spacious and the dining area has lovely natural light with a mixture of tables and banquette booths.
"
Tucked away on a discreet residential street in Chelsea, The Cross Keys is a stone's throw from Chelsea Embankment and makes it the perfect regular haunt for guests looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the King's Road.
This Chelsea institution, open since 1708, combines capital-cool with country warmth to allow guests to enjoy laid-back luxury that brings the British countryside the heart of the city.
Come for thoughtful British dishes, fine wines, real cask ales & classic cocktails, friendly & knowledgeable service and the best scotch eggs you've ever tasted.

Rude, bad mannered staff. Would never go there again.

Unfortunately it's only their courtyard and bar that are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't.
