The Alma
Wandsworth | Hotel & Pub
The Alma is a fantastic Youngs pub and hotel in the Old York Road part of Wandsworth.
Pooches are welcome throughout and in the hotel rooms. We stayed the night after one of the most amazing Sunday Roasts ever - highly recommend the Roast sharer. There is so much food, the humans can’t eat it all, which is always good news for us.
It was lucky we only had to walk a few steps to our room for the night. You can check out our full blog about our stay here.

Rude, bad mannered staff. Would never go there again.

Unfortunately it's only their courtyard and bar that are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't.

This is our local pub and we love going here as they are so welcoming and dog friendly! Dogs welcome in the bar/ restaurant area and outside in their garden/ courtyard too. The humans say they do really good roast dinners and yummy desserts!

Loved it here! They took us in last minute when we were let down by our booking with Brindisa 2 doors down. We were even allowed to sit indoors. The humans loved their cocktails and food - Turkish twist on brunch! The chefs even made me my own pup friendly bacon and eggs. I saw they offered a fellow pup a doggy bed to use which is a nice touch but I preferred to use my own bag for a post brunch nap.

Well behaved doggos on leads are welcome inside this festive event! It gets a bit busy so I stayed mostly in my bag but I enjoyed stealing some of the humans bratwurst and even got my own puppacino from the bar!
