Copperhouse Chocolate Cafe
Islington | undefined
The Copperhouse Chocolate Cafe is conveniently located on Chapel Market, which boasts an everyday food, fruit and general goods market, with a Farmers' market on Sundays. The humans go often to the farmers' market so I take them to this cafe for a rest before we go home. I often see other dogs take their humans there with bags full of fruit and veggies, I guess they also have the same idea. The chocolate cafe sells chocolate snacks (like muffins etc) and chocolate drinks (both hot and cold) from many exotic countries, with varying percentages of chocolate concentration. I don't know why humans enjoy this chocolate, I have never tried it personally myself as they tell me its poisonous to dogs... They also have a kitchen with a normal human cafe food menu. I ordered my humans an Iced chocolate and a hot mocha, and let them select the type/concentration themselves. Copperhouse has 2 floors, the ground floor which is open to the outdoors in summer, and another downstairs area, and dogs are allowed everywhere. They have a variety of chairs/tables/sofas and has a lovely eclectic feel to it. They provide dog water bowls if asked.

Rude, bad mannered staff. Would never go there again.

Unfortunately it's only their courtyard and bar that are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't.

This is our local pub and we love going here as they are so welcoming and dog friendly! Dogs welcome in the bar/ restaurant area and outside in their garden/ courtyard too. The humans say they do really good roast dinners and yummy desserts!

Loved it here! They took us in last minute when we were let down by our booking with Brindisa 2 doors down. We were even allowed to sit indoors. The humans loved their cocktails and food - Turkish twist on brunch! The chefs even made me my own pup friendly bacon and eggs. I saw they offered a fellow pup a doggy bed to use which is a nice touch but I preferred to use my own bag for a post brunch nap.

Well behaved doggos on leads are welcome inside this festive event! It gets a bit busy so I stayed mostly in my bag but I enjoyed stealing some of the humans bratwurst and even got my own puppacino from the bar!
