The Cross Keys

The Cross Keys is what our humans call a 'Posh Pub' because it has a separate dining are to the bar and it serves fabulous, top quality food. These dining areas are often off limits to Four Legged Foodies but not so at The Cross Keys, in fact we only spotted 1 table that didn't have a dog with them.
The first thing we noticed was a huge jar of treats waiting for us by the door, and although we had to be reminded that we had to share them with other dogs, it made us feel very welcome. The staff also made us very welcome and didn't even mind Nacho jumping up at them every time they came to the table.
The pub is spacious and the dining area has lovely natural light with a mixture of tables and banquette booths.

Unfortunately it's only their courtyard and bar that are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't.

This is our local pub and we love going here as they are so welcoming and dog friendly! Dogs welcome in the bar/ restaurant area and outside in their garden/ courtyard too. The humans say they do really good roast dinners and yummy desserts!

Loved it here! They took us in last minute when we were let down by our booking with Brindisa 2 doors down. We were even allowed to sit indoors. The humans loved their cocktails and food - Turkish twist on brunch! The chefs even made me my own pup friendly bacon and eggs. I saw they offered a fellow pup a doggy bed to use which is a nice touch but I preferred to use my own bag for a post brunch nap.

Well behaved doggos on leads are welcome inside this festive event! It gets a bit busy so I stayed mostly in my bag but I enjoyed stealing some of the humans bratwurst and even got my own puppacino from the bar!
