Gaucho's Richmond
A low-slung, boathouse inspired building, Gaucho Richmond is a sophisticated way to spend a day on the river. Inside, the glass-panelled walls offer panoramic sights of Richmond Bridge and Petersham Meadows, so you can enjoy glorious views at any time of year. And in the summer months – under the branches of a towering plane tree – the waterside terrace hosts an alfresco kitchen, serving up seafood barbecues alongside our authentic Argentine steak.

Gaucho's
I went with the humans to Gaucho in Richmond on a lovely summer evening. The restaurant is in a fantastic location, right on the river and has a large outside terrace area. Inside is a large, airy restaurant with floor to ceiling windows so you can still enjoy the view. Inside is air-conditioned so we doggies can keep cool on even the hottest days. Argentinian beef is what they do best here but they do have a full menu including some veggie dishes. The humans shared a Chateaubriand which they said was out of this world - well it must have been good because they didn’t save me any! Good job then that the waiter brought me some biscuits and a bowl of water. I highly recommend my four legged foodie friends pay them a visit. We doggies are allowed in all areas of the restaurant at all times in Richmond and Hampstead. All other Gaucho restaurants are dog friendly until 6.00pm each day.

Rude, bad mannered staff. Would never go there again.

Unfortunately it's only their courtyard and bar that are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't.

This is our local pub and we love going here as they are so welcoming and dog friendly! Dogs welcome in the bar/ restaurant area and outside in their garden/ courtyard too. The humans say they do really good roast dinners and yummy desserts!

Loved it here! They took us in last minute when we were let down by our booking with Brindisa 2 doors down. We were even allowed to sit indoors. The humans loved their cocktails and food - Turkish twist on brunch! The chefs even made me my own pup friendly bacon and eggs. I saw they offered a fellow pup a doggy bed to use which is a nice touch but I preferred to use my own bag for a post brunch nap.

Well behaved doggos on leads are welcome inside this festive event! It gets a bit busy so I stayed mostly in my bag but I enjoyed stealing some of the humans bratwurst and even got my own puppacino from the bar!
