Egerton House

Egerton House Hotel is so dog friendly! Not only do they serve us our own afternoon tea, they also have an Instagram page dedicated to their four-legged visitors. We have been several times to indulge in their Doggy Afternoon Tea and it never fails to impress. On my last visit I took my pals Dudley and Mikey to celebrate Afternoon Tea Week. We each got our own 3 tier bowl stand, to mimic what the humans get and inside the bowls we get meatloaf, ice cream by Billy and Margot and homemade biscuits. The staff can’t do enough for us, making sure we have plenty of water and offering us seconds if we polish off the meatloaf too quickly! Afternoon Tea is served in their elegant drawing room which is very posh with white tablecloths and soft furnishings but they are happy for us pooches to sit anywhere we like (maybe not on the tables). I think the humans felt a bit left out! But they didn’t need to worry, they were looked after too with lots of yummy sandwiches and cakes. In fact they had so much they asked for a doggy bag - I tried to tell them this meant some was for me but they were having none of it. When you visit make sure you take lots of photos and tag @rchvips to be featured. They even have an Instagram page dedicated to us pampered pooches. Follow @rchvips

Unfortunately it's only their courtyard and bar that are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't.

This is our local pub and we love going here as they are so welcoming and dog friendly! Dogs welcome in the bar/ restaurant area and outside in their garden/ courtyard too. The humans say they do really good roast dinners and yummy desserts!

Loved it here! They took us in last minute when we were let down by our booking with Brindisa 2 doors down. We were even allowed to sit indoors. The humans loved their cocktails and food - Turkish twist on brunch! The chefs even made me my own pup friendly bacon and eggs. I saw they offered a fellow pup a doggy bed to use which is a nice touch but I preferred to use my own bag for a post brunch nap.

Well behaved doggos on leads are welcome inside this festive event! It gets a bit busy so I stayed mostly in my bag but I enjoyed stealing some of the humans bratwurst and even got my own puppacino from the bar!
