Smith & Whistle
When a restaurant creates a menu just for us doggies then I have to give it a try, it would be rude not to, right? So I took the humans and my pal Dudley along to Smith & Whistle to try their “Quarterhounder” which was specially created so that we doggies could join in the celebrations of National Burger Day. It was a super hot day when we visited so we were very pleased to find that inside the bar was nicely air-conditioned. There are a few tables outside but they do face onto Piccadilly which is very busy and noisy. Inside, however is very calm and spacious so plenty of room for us to stretch out. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and are very used to doggies taking photos on the furniture. We were brought water immediately in their very posh bowls and then we were asked if we would like to choose a dogtail from our very own menu. Dudley and I decided to share a Hound’s Hops, which was okay but I still prefer plain old water! The main event for me was obviously the Quarterhounder which was a chicken breast, sandwiched in between 2 slices of sweet potato with kale and cucumber. Dudley and I aren’t fans of the green stuff but the rest was delicious and we polished it off with relish (no there wasn’t any relish)!! The humans really enjoyed their burgers too and they said the chips were awesome! The food menu isn’t large as Smith & Whistle is the bar of the Sheraton Grand Piccadilly which has a full restaurant - unfortunately we aren’t allowed in there. So the food is very much “bar food” but very good quality. They do have an extensive cocktail menu which the humans were very interested in. I look forward to going back next National Burger Day - maybe we could have beef next time....

This is our local pub and we love going here as they are so welcoming and dog friendly! Dogs welcome in the bar/ restaurant area and outside in their garden/ courtyard too. The humans say they do really good roast dinners and yummy desserts!

Loved it here! They took us in last minute when we were let down by our booking with Brindisa 2 doors down. We were even allowed to sit indoors. The humans loved their cocktails and food - Turkish twist on brunch! The chefs even made me my own pup friendly bacon and eggs. I saw they offered a fellow pup a doggy bed to use which is a nice touch but I preferred to use my own bag for a post brunch nap.

Well behaved doggos on leads are welcome inside this festive event! It gets a bit busy so I stayed mostly in my bag but I enjoyed stealing some of the humans bratwurst and even got my own puppacino from the bar!

Great for a rest in after a stroll in Green park. Lots of big TVs for the humans to watch live sports.

The humans said the pizza here was super tasty, but wouldn’t let me try any! I got a nice cosy spot for my bag under the table for a post-walk nap. Ladywell fields is a couple minutes walk away for a pre/post meal walkies.

A great place to stop for a rest after a walk at Ladywell fields. Lots of yummy fresh pastries, breads, sandwiches to try and coffee to wake the human up on those early walks! Mumma says they also do the most amazing french cakes and patisseries!

Great place for the meat lovers! I got cuddles and my own bowl of water. Mumma and her friends got their paws very messy with all the bbq food, apparently not suitable for pups though!

The humans visited here before they had me and said the food was delicious! The owners told them how they offer cushions for dogs to sit on! They enjoyed watching the resident dog trying to escape from his pen.

Pawfect place to stop in after a long stroll in Greenwich park! Bear in mind pups are only allowed in the front part of the restaurant so be sure to mention this when you book as it gets busy! Inside looks great, makes for great photos for the gram! Humans love their coffee, cocktails and brunch - so everything on offer really!
