1a Duke Street

Our humans love to brunch and we love to go with them whenever possible. So we were delighted to accompany them to this fantastic restaurant in the heart of Richmond. Tucked just off the high street No.1a Duke Street is a bright and airy neighbourhood restaurant serving breakfast, all-day brunch and Sunday lunch. Outside is a lovely enclosed courtyard with an elegant but cosy vibe complete with foliage and festoon lighting. We doggies are also welcome inside which is just as elegant with stripped back wooden tables and plenty of natural light. The humans said it felt like being in California - we wouldn’t know about that! There were a few other doggies there when we visited on a Sunday morning but there was plenty of space for us all. The staff were very friendly and brought us water. They didn’t even mind us sitting on the furniture for our photo shoot, where the humans tormented us with their delicious looking food but didn’t let us have any. They ate edamame hummus and breakfast tacos and apparently it was all as delicious as it looked. Of course, they also had a sneaky cocktail. No.1a Duke Street is part of the Darwin and Wallace group who have 6 restaurants in South West London. We can’t wait to try them all!!

Unfortunately it's only their courtyard and bar that are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't.

This is our local pub and we love going here as they are so welcoming and dog friendly! Dogs welcome in the bar/ restaurant area and outside in their garden/ courtyard too. The humans say they do really good roast dinners and yummy desserts!

Loved it here! They took us in last minute when we were let down by our booking with Brindisa 2 doors down. We were even allowed to sit indoors. The humans loved their cocktails and food - Turkish twist on brunch! The chefs even made me my own pup friendly bacon and eggs. I saw they offered a fellow pup a doggy bed to use which is a nice touch but I preferred to use my own bag for a post brunch nap.

Well behaved doggos on leads are welcome inside this festive event! It gets a bit busy so I stayed mostly in my bag but I enjoyed stealing some of the humans bratwurst and even got my own puppacino from the bar!
