Half a dozen places to celebrate World Egg Day

Updated: Jan 16, 2020

It's no yolk! October 11th is World Egg Day. So here are 6 places to go and dip your bread.

Clutch Chicken, Columbia Road

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Well at Clutch it's definitely all about the chicken but there are plenty of egg dishes on the brunch menu. You can also get a fried egg on top of your chicken burger.

Archie's, Highgate

This great cafe serves all day brunch every day with eggs a plenty! For something a bit different, try the Rice Bowl with pink pickled eggs!

No. 1a Duke Street, Richmond

This is a fantastic space in Richmond to enjoy all day dining. Start your day with their breakfast menu which has an abundance of egg dishes. Our favourite is the Breakfast Tacos.

Milk Beach, Queens Park

This is a fab little cafe and wine bar on the very cool Lonsdale Road. Try their coddled eggs in a jar served with sourdough soldiers.

Brickwood, Balham

A very popular spot for brunch and great coffee in Balham. They also have 3 other locations in South West London. Try the Brickwood Burrito - scrambled eggs and pulled pork, what's not to love?

Poor Boys, Kingston

This American restaurant specialises in the New Orleans Po Boy sandwich. They also do a great selection of Bennies (eggs benedict) and fantastic omelettes.
