6 dog friendly London places to enjoy brunch with your pooch this weekend

Spring is here (honestly it is) the days are getting brighter and we are promised some sun very soon. It's time for even the laziest of pooches to come out from hibernation and start enjoying some weekend brunches.

Here are 6 of our favourites...

Dog friendly Chinese vegan restaurant Camden London

Brunch doesn't have to be all eggs, bacon and pastries. If you fancy something different, then try Vegan Planet in Camden.

At this 100% vegan Chinese restaurant you can sample such delicious delights as dim sum, wontons, rice, noodles to name but a few.

All well-behaved doggies are welcome in the spacious restaurant and will get water and treats from the staff.

The restaurant is right by Camden station or a short walk from Regent's Park. Which is a good option as you will need to work up an appetite to get through their extensive menu.

Dog friendly Portugese restaurant Peckham London

We might not quite have the sunny weather yet but you can always pretend you are in Portugal when you visit UVA in Peckham.

At weekends you can choose from a selection of large British brunch dishes with a Portugese influence.

Try salt cured cod with scrambled eggs or rib eye beef in a bolo de caco roll with goats cheese and fried egg yolk.

Four legged foodies are welcome throughout, including in the indoor garden space at the back.
Staff are super friendly and brought us water and a cup of treats. Puppacinos are also available for free.

Dog friendly Venezuelan restaurant London

We had never tried Venezuelan food before we visited Arepa & Co but now we are firm fans.

For weekend brunch you can choose larger brunch plates such as Cachapa Stack
Two cachapas layered with grated cheese and ham, fried egg on top and drizzled with sugar cane syrup. Alternatively, you an choose from the small plates which are served all day. The humans recommend fried chicken, yuca fries and pastelitos (beef turnovers).

Four Legged Foodies are most welcome at all 3 locations in Stockwell, Haggerston and Bethnal Green. We even got our very own serving of beef mince!

Dog friendly brunch Finsbury Park London

After a walk in Finsbury Park, pop round the corner to the ever popular Common Ground for one of the tastiest brunches in North London.

At weekends you might have to wait a little while for a table, but trust us it is worth it for the meat & fish free menu. Our humans recommend Potato Latke, rich yolk eggs, hollandaise crispy potato latke, poached rich yolk eggs, charred hispi cabbage, brown butter hollandaise and Smashed Peas, artichoke hummus, mushroom (vg) vibrant British peas with Jerusalem artichoke hummus, mixed mushroom and roast chestnut medley.

The homemade banana bread served warm is to die for if you have any room left in your belly.

The café is small but does have a great covered outdoor area too and four legged foodies are welcome everywhere.
