6 Places to Celebrate National Burger Day.
August 27th is National Burger Day, the day to celebrate putting something delicious in a bun before realising you will never fit in your mouth and have to take it all apart again!
As a nation, we love burgers. Whether they be beef, chicken, mushroom or plant based, we just can't get enough of them. So no wonder they are a staple on most pub menus and of course, they are often served with another favourite - CHIPS.
Here are 6 of our favourite places to indulge yourself on National Burger Day where your pooch can join you and drool at your feet, hoping you will fail in your attempts to get it all in and some will drop into his waiting jaws.
The Angel & Crown is tucked away down a side street in Richmond but you will want to find it because they are not only super dog friendly but they do an amazing, tasty burger.
Doggies are welcome throughout the pub and can join you on the seats to get a better chance of catching those falling morsels of beef.
Choose from 8oz beef or veggie burger, both served on brioche bun and you don't even have to wait for National Burger Day as every Wednesday at The Angel & Crown is Burger Night.

We can't talk about beef without mentioning our friends at Gaucho!
If your burger just has to be beef, then you won't get better than one made from 100% Argentine beef from premium Black Angus cattle reared on 17 different types of grass.
Dogs are welcome at all their restaurants except the one at the O2.
We also can't not mention our friends at Shake Shack!
All 6 of their London locations welcome pooches and we even have our own menu of red velvet biscuits with vanilla custard.
We just have one request - a doggie burger please!!

Now we move on to 3 places that take dog friendly to a whole new level and where we dogs can really get involved in National Burger Day.
Starting with LMH Townhouse in Chelsea which is a café, creche and wellness centre for dogs by Love My Human.
Our doggie menu is almost as extensive as the human one and includes poached salmon, beef meatballs, frozen yoghurt and of course beef burgers with sweet potato.

Another MUST visit for all Four Legged Foodies is Wags N Tales in Surbiton and Twickenham.
At these friendly local cafes, you will be looked at strangely if you don't have a dog!
Here you can enjoy homemade doggie scones, pupcakes and puppaccino while the humans devour their veggie burgers from a choice of falafel, jackfruit, mac n cheese or quarter pounder.
Tell the humans to leave room for one of their delicious cakes and donuts made fresh every day!
If you need any more persuading, donuts are 3 for 2 on Fridays!!

Dogs of London who haven't been to Dandie Dog Cafe yet, tell your humans to get their act together and take you there on National Burger Day!
We doggies not only get our very own venison cheeseburger but over a dozen other delicious dishes on our very own doggie menu. In fact it's the same size as the human menu!
The human food at Dandie is vegan so they can enjoy dishes like scrambled tofu or a vegan sharing board.
